Parentini
If you’ve never heard of Parentini before, they’re an Italian company that have been making cycle clothing since 1976 and have supplied custom clothing for professional racing cyclists and teams over the years.
I’m delighted to be working with Giampaulo and his team to help develop business within the UK cycling club and race scene.
Having been introduced to the brand through my good friends at Epoca Bikes, it was love at first site. When you own of the finest hand built bikes in the world, you need kit to match and do it justice.

A seamless seam!
How do you acheive optimum comfort? Sports clothing sits very close to the skin, especially cycling gear. Add in the need for unrestricted movement, comfort and durability and you’re asking a lot from a product.
At the higher end of the range, Parentini bib shorts are created using a heat bonded process rather than stitch. These bibs are not thrust into a robotic machine. This is a highly skilled job that Daiana has perfected. Believe me, your bibs are made with love and dedication.
The result? A very plyable and dynamic fit that feels like a second skin.
The Pad!
The pad in a pair of cycling shorts can be the be all and end all.
This is a serious business and Parentini have it covered. There are four pads to choose from to suit your body type and style of cycling.
Installation of the pad is also key and, again, requires a steady and experienced hand on the sewing machine to achieve perfection.
Which bibs?
Bibs shorts are a highly personal garment with a precise fit required. The fit of your bib shorts can determine the overall enjoyment of riding and/or racing your bike.
Whether you’re an all out racer going in and out of the saddle for a high octane hour of crit racing or if you’re heading out with your club for 65km in the lanes on a weekend, Parentini have a bib short (and pad) for you.
Quality Control
Parentini prides itself on the artisan processes that go into producing every single garment. Many manufacturers claim ‘hand made in…’ which turn out to be spurious marketing claims in most cases.
The difference with Parentini is that they’ll open their doors to anyone, offering transparency on their manufacuring processes of which they are quite rightly very proud.
Only with highly skilled and experienced personnel, can they achieve the highest standards. Italian clothing has a worldwide reputation for quality and in the cycling sector, Parentini represent better than anyone else in the market.
Club Portal
Many hours have gne into creating a portal for club members and club kit secretaries.
We’re poachers tunred gamekeepers having been in roles within cycling clubs whereby ordering club kit is a neccessary and stress evil.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
