As the 2019 cycling season was coming to an end, I decided to start a cycling club, with racing at it’s heart.

Together with my business partner in cycling related activities, Peter Cole, we created GS Mossa.

GS stands for Gruppo Sportivo (Italian for ‘sporting club’) and Mossa translate as ‘move’ or ‘forward motion’. This ties in with the Italian bike and components that we use as fire power on the road and trails.

With a team of 12 ready to take on 2020, our season was dashed due to COVID-19 but we kept riding when and where we could.

With our striking red Italian threads and outwardly enjoying our cycling, the competitive cycling team became a competitive cycling club.

We now have over 60 members and this is capped so we can uphold our ethos.

GS Mossa is a diverse cycling club with racing in the DNA. We throw our legs over bikes from all disciplines and you can find us smashing XC and Enduro trails in the forests, going into to the red at road races and getting aero on the TT bikes.

Riding our bikes is a way of life for us and an integral part of our beings. Cycling offers more than just physical benefits, it can ensure our mental health is kept in good place. This is why we are proud to have CALM charity as our affiliated good cause.
