Golf course photography, shot different.

Every course has its own DNA. Not the generic images of a course in good light, but the greenkeeping, the machinery and the people behind the condition. Your course has its own personality. Let’s show it, and give you a year of content worth posting.

One club. Four seasons. A year of content.

Four Seasons is how I would choose to work with every club. Four visits across the year, each delivered as its own edited set, building into a rolling catalogue your team can post from week after week without having to think about it. I take on a limited number of clubs so each course gets the visits it needs.

“Ollie is, without question, one of the most efficient and accomplished course photographers I’ve had the pleasure of working with.”

Cayla Platt-Botha, Trevose Golf & Country Club

Your people. Their vibe. Greenkeepers recognised.

Behind the scenes of the inner sanctum, the part clubs almost never photograph. The course in good light is the easy half. The harder half is everything that puts it there: the team out at five in the morning, the machinery, the detail that makes a green roll the way it does.

That matters commercially as well. Most people decide whether a course is worth the drive long before they arrive, and they decide it from photographs.

Made to be used, not filed away:

  • Club website
  • Social media
  • Membership packs
  • Visitor & society
  • Press & trade
  • Campaigns

A day on the course should last a club a year.

I shoot a visit as one body of work rather than a set of photographs, so what comes back is a library rather than a gallery: enough for the website, the socials, the membership pack and the trade press, without having to find something in October that still looks current.

“Ollie produces breathtaking golf course photography which has helped bring our golf course to life and showcase our recent course upgrades.”

Aerial vistas unlock appreciation.

And celebrate the architecture too: courses, greenkeepers, machinery, clubhouses, details and people, from the air and on the ground.

  1. Course Photography

Landscape, architecture, atmosphere and details. I shoot at the hours that flatter the course.

  2. Greenkeeping

People, machinery and craftsmanship. The most under-used story a club owns.

  3. Film & Aerial

Course films, signature-hole flyovers and vertical cuts, shot and edited by me.

  4. Commercial & Brand

Assignment photography for golf manufacturers, distributors and suppliers.

“The images perfectly highlight the beauty and condition of our course, as well as the skill, hard work, and dedication of our team.”

Great playing surfaces don’t happen by accident.
Neither do the photographs.

  1. 01

    Walk it first

I walk a course before I shoot it, to learn where the light lands and what makes it itself rather than any other course.

  2. 02

    Find the story

The obvious frames are the easy ones. I am usually after the people, the machinery and the work going on behind them.

  3. 03

    Shoot for its use

Every frame is taken knowing roughly where it will end up, whether that is a membership pack or a fifteen second vertical.

  4. 04

    Hand it over properly

Edited, organised and named, so the club can use it the day it arrives rather than a fortnight later.

Your machinery, photographed where it actually works.

Tru-Turf and Masons Kings commission me to show their machinery in the hands of the people using it, at first light, on real courses, in real conditions. Editorial assignment photography, not average catalogue shots.

It’s just me.

No account managers, no second shooters you’ve never met. You deal with me from the first call to the final delivery: the brief, the shoot, the edit, the handover.

I photograph golf because I understand it. Based in Hampshire, available worldwide.
